It's those long cold snowy winter days...

Days when you need good old fashioned, home cooked, hearty village mountain food.  Food your grandmother made by the old stove, that fills the house with delicious aroma and sticks to your bones.  We were blessed to have grown up with this rich food that our people cooked in our mountain village in Miklos, Syria.  We call this mountain village food... "Tabekh".  And many Tabekh dishes are cooked in "Dungarras", big, heavy pots, enough to feed a house full of people.

Our parents cooked for us this way, and are proud to share this tradition with you.  May it keep you warm and full in the winter.
